Dr. Krystal L. Culler

Dr. Krystal L. Culler is a holistic brain health expert with nearly twenty years of experience working with individuals with brain-related diagnoses, their families, providers, and advocacy organizations. She is a Doctor of Behavioral Health with an educational background that spans the behavioral sciences including lifespan psychology, gerontology, and sociology.

She is the Founder of the Virtual Brain Health Center and a Senior Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health with the Global Brain Health Institute, where she was the first scholar from the United States to complete her residency training at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland on dementia prevention and the social determinants of brain health. She is the author of “A Kids Book About Brain Health” and co-host of a top-ten ranked best brain health podcast, “Let’s Talk Brain Health!” She has an unwavering commitment to promoting brain health equity to individuals of all ages and the communities she serves across the world. Her mission: Brain care for all.

With more than 10 years of leadership experience at Walmart eCommerce, Nalo has built a career on improving efficiency, developing teams, and driving large-scale operational success across multiple U.S. fulfillment centers.

Her professional expertise in quality excellence and process improvement has shaped her into a results-driven leader who understands both business systems and the human side of change. But it is her personal journey as a mother of a deaf athlete that led her to her life’s mission—creating the I AM Hear Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering deaf and hard-of-hearing families.

Founded from the heart of her own family’s experience, I AM Hear has become a trusted resource for underserved families across Arizona. The organization’s initiatives include annual back-to-school drives, Easter and Thanksgiving community events, and the “Hear the Alarm” Safety Project, in partnership with the American Red Cross—working to install visual and vibrating fire alarms in homes where traditional alarms cannot be heard.

Nalo’s leadership blends corporate discipline with compassionate service. She believes in using her platform to open doors, raise awareness, and ensure that every family—regardless of ability or circumstance—has access to safety, opportunity, and belonging.

Leslie Adkins

Leslie Adkins has served students in the Social Services and Education fields for nearly 30 years. While working at a treatment center for abused, neglected and adjudicated minors, she saw the need for a strong educational system for children; particularly those who were at risk. This prompted her to become an educator. During her tenure at Advantage Schools Inc, the Western Michigan University English graduate, served as a teacher and in various administrative capacities. She also served as the administrator of a high school for pregnant and parenting students. Leslie is currently a Senior National Achievement Specialist for McGraw-Hill where her focus is working with school systems to find solutions for at-risk, underserved students in many urban and rural areas around the country. A Michigan native, Leslie, currently resides in Phoenix, AZ.

Recognized as the 2019 LA Lakers Business Woman of the Year and the 2015 California Charter Teacher of the Year, she is the creator of Prismatic Leadership®, Intercultural Creativity®, and NeuroSomatic Creativity®.
As Founder and Chief Creative Officer of CAFFE Strategies, Genein partners with C-Suite executives and organizations to design sustainable strategies that merge neuroscience with creativity and brain health. Her work empowers leaders and teams to unleash innovation for personal growth and organizational success.

Her acclaimed framework, the 7 Gems of NeuroSomatic Creativity®, equips corporations and institutions to enhance brain health while strengthening the essential cognitive tools that fuel creativity, problem-solving, and resilience. Genein holds degrees in Psychology and Educational Development from UCLA and CSUN, and she is certified in Brain-Centric Design.

A passionate Brain Health Activist, she collaborates with the Center for BrainHealth at the University of Texas at Dallas to expand brain capital initiatives across both education and corporate sectors. With her son, she writes books on brain capital and also co-established the nation’s first Brain Capital Awareness Month in Phoenix, Arizona.

Internationally recognized for her mastery of Campbellocking (locking), she has taught and performed worldwide, known for her musicality, storytelling, and movement precision.

Keeley has worked with artists like Justin Bieber, Janet Jackson, and Snoop Dogg, and appeared on major platforms including Dancing With the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Best Dance Crew, Jimmy Fallon, and Bob Hearts Abishola. Monica Montoya is creative! (Once you start saying it over and over, it really becomes the thing you lead with.) Monica has worked in non-profit theatre for years, starting her own theatre non-profit in 2017, bringing much needed little-to-no-cost creative opportunities for teens and young adults ages 16-25 in Los Angeles. Beyond her creative endeavors, Monica has diligently worked in program management, marketing, production, and development for various projects ranging from theatrical works and short films to conferences and networking events. She is a passionate financial literacy advocate for first-generation college students, serving as a mentor through Alumni 360 and beyond. She believes creativity is essential to human ingenuity and contrivance. Monica is absolutely thrilled to be working with the amazing CAFFE team in this most necessary endeavor of getting creativity into the forefront of the next great generation of entrepreneurs, thinkers, and workers. She’ll just be the one making the spreadsheets to help do it!

Kenia is a first-year student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo pursuing Business Administration, possibly concentrating in accounting. In being part of Cal Poly Entrepreneurs and the Latinx Business Student Association she hopes to gain knowledge and experience within this field of business.

In addition to assisting CAFFE Strategies in social media content creation, she also is the Assistant Executive Director/Social Media Manager at Alumni 360, a mentorship program that supports middle and high school students. Her goal is to intern for a company in renewable energy, food and beverage, or environmental services.Her aim is to help create environments where underrepresented and vulnerable groups are treated equitably and ethically, where there’s value in encouraging advocacy, and promoting human rights and animal welfare.

Shawn ‘The Creative Kid’

Shawn published his first creativity book at just three years old and is now on a global mission to help the world think more creatively. Every day, he delights his parents with fresh examples of inventive thinking and imaginative connections. He still enjoys sprinklers, has developed a passion for Sonic the Hedgehog, and is determined to solve the Rubik’s Cube faster than his dad. An eager observer, he strengthens his mind through piano playing and creative exploration. Shawn speaks internationally—including at the United Nations Brain Days event and shared insights on creativity and the brain. He is also an honorary BrainHealth Actionist with the Center for BrainHealth in Dallas, Texas. His favorite musical tune is “Sonic Superstars.”
